Multi-Campus Church – Server Replacement & Infrastructure Modernization

We helped a large, multi-campus church proactively refresh its server infrastructure as part of a planned technology lifecycle strategy. The church relies on a stable, secure environment to support livestreaming, event coordination, administrative workflows, and community engagement. To stay ahead of growing digital demands and maintain long-term reliability, they wanted to replace their servers in alignment with Jolt’s recommended upgrade schedule.

By implementing a full server refresh—including modern hardware, updated virtualization hosts, expanded storage, and enhanced backup capabilities—we ensured the church has a strong, future-ready foundation that supports their mission. The result is an efficient, resilient system designed to grow alongside the church and keep their operations running smoothly.

What was the issue?

The church wasn’t experiencing widespread failures, but their existing servers were approaching the end of their recommended lifecycle. To avoid performance bottlenecks, minimize the risk of unplanned downtime, and maintain strong security posture, they wanted to modernize the hardware before issues arose.

As their digital footprint continued to expand, the church needed a more scalable and efficient infrastructure—one capable of supporting increasing livestreaming quality, more connected devices, and ongoing ministry growth. Upgrading on schedule ensured they stayed ahead of demand rather than reacting to problems down the road.

What did we do to solve it?

We executed a planned, seamless server modernization aligned with Jolt’s lifecycle recommendations. Our team installed new high-performance servers featuring increased processing power, expanded memory, and scalable storage designed to support both current workloads and future ministry initiatives.

We refreshed and optimized their virtualization environment, migrated workloads to the new hosts with minimal disruption, and added enhanced redundancy to safeguard everyday operations. To strengthen data protection, we also modernized their backup systems, implementing automated, secure on-site and cloud-based recovery options.

The upgraded environment now provides faster performance, improved stability, and a stronger security foundation. By replacing equipment on a proactive schedule, the church is positioned for long-term success—supporting weekend services, administrative needs, online engagement, and special events with confidence.
